L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks Review

08:30

I've heard great things about these L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks over the past 6 months or so. I noticed they were 3 for 2 at Superdrug lately so thought I would try them out!

They all contain 3 pure clays:  Kaolinite known to absorb impurities, Montmorillonite known to eliminate imperfections, and Ghassoul known to clarify complexion.

The first mask, Purity Mask, promises to purify and mattify skin. It contains 3 pure clays and eucalyptus. I love the smell of this, it smells so fresh, you can really smell the eucalyptus. I tend to have more dry than oily skin so I usually apply this to my nose and chin. I love how nice this feels on my skin and my skin felt refreshed when removing this.

The next mask, Glow Mask, promises to brighten and exfoliate skin. It contains the 3 pure clays and red algae. This isn't as smooth as the other masks as it has exfoliating particles in it. I apply this to my cheeks to brighten them up and my other half actually said my skin looked more 'glowy' when removing it. I may try this on my nose in future though to exfoliate pores on my nose.

Finally my favourite mask, Detox Mask, promises to detox and clarify skin. It contains 3 pure clays and charcoal. I tend to apply this on my forehead and chin. I love how deep cleansed it makes my skin feel. I feel like my skin looks more evenly toned with this as well.

Overall I love using these masks and they have become part of my weekly skincare routine! Plus the fact that they are so affordable is great.

Have you tried these masks?

  1. I adore using clay in my skincare regime. I buy a natual clay power and hydrate it myself for a fairly inexpensive, no nasty solution :)

  14. It feels like every skincare brand is coming out with a charcoal mask. The ones I have I like and they are in squeezy tubes, well one of them isn't but i find squeezy tubes so much easier to use and less messy. That glow mask does sound lovely though! Great post.
