Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation Review

I purchased this, Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation in shade 51 Light Vanilla, during a base make up haul a few months ago. I've recently remembered I bought so I've been wearing it for the past few weeks.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is one of my favourite summer foundations so I bought this. 123 Perfect Foundation, to try as a winter foundation for more coverage. I bought it in shade 51, which is a shade lighter than my healthy mix foundation as I'm paler in the winter. Even though its shade 51 I would still say its not the lightest foundation shade I have used.

I always moisturise and prime before using any foundation as I have really dry skin. I apply two pumps to my blender which does my whole face. It offers more medium than high coverage so I still need concealer. It has good staying power, however I don't think it lasts the whole 16 hours wear it advertises. 

Overall its an ok foundation and allows my skin to 'breathe' without it being too heavy. Which is great for winter skin, though if I don't think I'd repurchase due to the shade and it didn't do anything too different to any other foundation.

    I haven't used a foundation for months, I am using a BB cream for every day and it gives me perfect coverage and SPF. Too bad you are not thrilled with this one and it is always disappointing when the shade does not match.

      Yeah I like Max Factor's CC Cream its not as heavy as a foundation but really good coverage! x

    It's a shame this foundation didn't live up to your expectations and you won't be buying it again. I haven't tried any from Boujois but I know the Healthy Mix one is really popular. I have been trying not to use too many different foundations recently and it sounds like this is one to give a miss. Hope you have a lovely weekend :) x

    Bourjois foundations never really do much for me but I love how they smell haha :) If you want to try a great cheap alternative, the NYX ones are so good!
