Elizavecca Milky Piggy Water Lock Hydro-gel Melting Mask Review

08:30

I recently bought this Elizavecca Milky Piggy Water Lock Hydro-gel Melting Mask from TK Maxx. I've not tried anything from this brand before so was very intrigued.

The mask is designed to seal in moisture whilst increasing the skins water retention to make skin firmer and softer. The mask is a two piece hydro-gel mask; the eyes and nose are separate to the mouth piece. The mask is very moist and smells like peaches, it smells lovely but if you don't like scented products you probably won't like this.

I applied the bottom part to my face, which fit fairly well around my lips. Although it did touch my lips and made them tingle for a few minutes. I then applied the top part which was a bit more fiddly as the eye holes were a bit too close together for my face, meaning I couldn't apply the mask firmly to the sides of my nose.

The mask stayed on the full 20 minutes and when I peeled it off, my skin felt supple. Though it did feel sticky on my face, so I patted in the left over residue. But it took about an hour to fully soak in. Overall this was a nice refreshing mask and I will try more from the brand in future!

  1. I'm not sure I would like the left over residue as it seems like it took a while to sink into the skin once you had removed the mask. The scent of peaches sounds lovely though :) x

  2. I don't like having residue on my face, but if I apply it in one of my relaxing afternoon I wouldn't mind it. It does sound like a great refreshing mask.

  4. This sounds really lovely but it took an hour to fully absorb? I might not like that.
