Neogen Dermalogy I'm Great At Nourishing Your Tired Skin - Argan Oil Essential Mask Review

08:30

If you've been reading my blog lately, you'll probably know I can't resist a sheet mask! I seen this, Neogen Dermalogy I'm Great At Nourishing Your Tired Skin Argan Oil Essential Mask, pack of 5 from TK Maxx on sale for only £3! I've not heard of the Neogen brand before but I thought they'd be worth a try.

The mask is very saturated as it had serum dripping from it when I took it out the package. It is also highly scented, it smells like argan oil with a slight soap smell to it. It smells fairly pleasant, but if you don't like scents you certainly wouldn't like this mask.

The mask fits my face fairly well apart from the nose/mouth area. Its recommend that it is left on the face for 20 minutes. It stayed on my face for the full 20 minutes without slipping or falling off.

When I took the mask off my forehead appeared slightly red. I didn't experience any stinging or irritation other than this. All my fine lines had reduced and my skin look very hydrated. The serum didn't sink in to my skin as well as other masks have. My face felt sticky for well over an hour.

The next day the serum had set in to my skin and left it feeling soft and still looking hydrated. I was really surprised it still looked so moisturised! I liked how this mask performed and I will enjoy the other four. However I don't think I'd repurchase it, as I always like to try new things and this hasn't become a 'holy grail' mask.

  2. I'm not sure I would like it if my face felt sticky for an hour after using the mask as I usually like products that sink into the skin really quickly. It sounds like they were worth trying for only £3 though :) x

  3. I struggle with face masks as I like them to work quick and hate sitting around with one on. Probably why I haven't found one yet! This does sounds good, I just couldn't wait for 20 minutes!

  4. I'm like you, I love the ease of a sheet mask and they are so much more convenient! While the price was a bargain, it's a shame the serum hadn't fully absorbed your skin as you would have hoped!

  7. Thank you for the review. At least I know I wouldn't buy this, because I would be scred of the irritation. I have very sensitive skin on my face.

  8. I love to use sheet masks but I hate when they feel sticky afterwards. It is incredible that the results lasted till the next day. Have you tried any Korean sheet masks?
