How I Prevent & Clear Spots - Murad Blemish Spot Treatment & Clearing Solution Review

09:37

I've recently been getting spots more often the past few months, so when I seen that Glamour was including these two Murad Blemish treatments as part of a subscription offer I couldn't resist!

The first product is a mini size (10ml) version of their Blemish Clearing Solution which helps to reduce redness of breakouts by soothing inflamed skin and prevent re-occurrence of spots, thanks to the Salicyclic acid and tea tree oil it contains!

I have been loving this product so far, after the first use my blemishes appeared less red, and it wasn't drying as I was concerned it would be. I don't use it everyday, I use it when I see blemishes appearing.

The next product is full size (15ml) Blemish Spot Treatment which heals spots by reducing redness and size. I pop this on specific areas when I feel a spot is coming and it helps to keep my skin at bay! It says you can use it 1-3 times daily, though I tend to do it just once a day, usually after cleansing or when I feel its necessary. It tends to take a few days for it to work for me.

These have now become my go to products to prevent and clear spots! They may not work for everyone but this is just what works for me.

What products do you use to fight spots?

  7. I didn't know Murad products before. They sounds good.
I don't get spots too much on my face, but i use clinic's 3 step skin care once in a while. It work well enough for me, as long as i drink a lot of water too.
    Thank you for sharing :)

  11. I would love to try this Murad range as I'm suffering with blemished skin lately. I think my skin always takes a turn for the worse as we enter into Winter.

  12. I am lucky to rarely break out or have a spot but I can see how this is so handy to have for those times when a spot or ten pops up. Great review, I'll check for this on Sephora.
