Polaar Ice Pure Gentle Scrub with Arctic Cotton Review

I received this Polaar Ice Pure Gentle Scrub with Arctic Cotton 25ml in my April Birchbox. I'd never heard of Arctic Cotton before so was very intrigued to try this out.
Arctic Cotton is actually known to be moisturising and detoxifying, meaning the scrub aims to exfoliate and moisturise at the same time. When squeezing it out the tube, it looks white with blue flecks, similar to toothpaste. It smells similar to men's aftershave, its a quite pleasant scent. The scrub's texture isn't as 'gritty' as other scrubs I've used, making it much nicer to apply to skin.
You apply the scrub to wet skin in circular motions before rinsing with water. I really like how it has the moisturising element as sometimes scrubs can really strip the skin of moisture. It doesn't cause any redness or irritation. It really leaves my skin feel refreshed and clean without being dried out. My skin looks and feels plumper.
I think is a great summer scrub and I've been using it once a week to make my skin feel refreshed and moisturised. I'm definitely curious to try products containing arctic cotton in the future.

I never heard of Arctic Cotton before. Nice to know. And even nicer to know this scrub smells like men's aftershave - now we have an excuse to indulge in such scent! X)

DeleteI've never heard about this brand before, but looks like a very good product that does a good job in exfoliating. But I have to say that for a year or two I have stopped using mechanical scrubs and much prefer to use "gentle" chemical exfoliants such as AHA/BHA.
