FabFitFun Summer 2020 Add On Sale Haul

09:00

I wanted to share my FabFitFun Summer 2020 'add on' purchases. These are items I purchased during the add on sale which are generally cheaper to buy than their retail value. They arrived with my box and I will be doing reviews for most of them soon.

Firstly I opted to try Spongelle's as these seemed really popular on the forum so I thought I'd give them a try. They are body wash infused buffers. I opted for Orchid Rain which is a dual pack that can be used for 30+ washes, Sunflower Kiss which is flower shaped and can be used for 14+ washes and finally Rose which is in butterfly shaped which can be used for 18+ washes. They are around £11 for the single packs and £21 on the Spongelle UK site. I paid $7 plus VAT for the single packs and $11 plus VAT for the Orchid Rain dual pack. So overall a great saving, they smell lovely and I can't wait to try them!

Next I bought a couple of haircare products, AG Rosehip Balm 89ml which was $9 plus VAT and Living Proof PHD Night Cap 118ml which cost $15 plus VAT. I've used the Rosehip Balm already and I really liked how it made my hair feel when blow drying, I'm planning to do a review on it. I couldn't find this in the UK but it retails for $28 in the US. The Living Proof PHD Night Cap RRP is £30 in the UK so its such a huge difference! I'm looking forward to using this as an overnight conditioner especially as hair dressers are still shut in the UK.

Moving onto skincare, I bought this Too Faced Replenish and Hydrate Bundle for $19 plus VAT. It includes Too Faced 3 in 1 Replenishing Primer and Setting Spray 120ml RRP £26 and Ultra Replenishing Hydrating Serum 29ml RRP £32. I've read so many good reviews on these products and they were such a bargain! I'm excited to try them and I'll do a review for both of them.

I tried an Elizabeth Arden Oxygen Facial last year which I loved. I really wanted to try an Oxygen Facial at home especially whilst in lockdown. When I seen this Dr Brandt Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask 40ml on sale I thought I'd give it a try. It retails for around £56 which I personally would never consider paying for something I have never tried, on FFF it cost $24 plus VAT. I've used it once so far and will be doing a review.

I purchased my first Mystery Bundle which cost $29 plus VAT and its supposed to have a retail value of $100+. I took a chance on this as I'd seen mixed reviews on these. I was pretty disappointed in what I received as they are very random although it all does retail over £100. The bundle contained Jayjun Rose Blossom Masks RRP $30, Nellie’s All-Natural Laundry Soda - 50 Loads RRP $11.95, nOir Jewelry Watermelon Stud Earrings RRP $64 and Cook Works Silicone Whisks RRP $9.99. The only thing I've used so far is the whisks which seem fairly good quality.

As part of the sale they also do homeware products and I couldn't resist this Kate Spade New York Out To Lunch Tote for $14 plus VAT. Its currently £28 on Amazon UK. Its even cuter in person but its not as big as I hoped. Its smaller than my current work lunch bag but I think it would be good to carry a few snacks or maybe even to use as a make up bag.

I chose this SunnyLife Picnic Kit to compliment the Business and Pleasure Cooler Bag I received in my FabFitFun Summer Box. It was $9 plus VAT, similar versions on the SunnyLife UK website retail for £25. The plates say they are dishwasher safe but I would recommend hand washing them. I've already used this set and it worked great, I love that it has a case.

Finally I bought H Halston Space Dye Sneaker Liner Socks for $9 plus VAT. I bought these I was running low on socks and non essentials shops were shut in England when I purchased them. I've seen similar H Halston socks in TK Maxx for £7. Overall I'm really happy with my purchases and I will be doing some reviews shortly.
