Makeup Revolution Pro Hygiene Sanitising Solid Brush Cleaner Review

08:30

As mentioned on my latest wishlist, I'm running out of my Freedom Brush Cleaner (its lasted a whole year). I purchased this Makeup Revolution Pro Hygiene Sanitising Solid Brush Cleaner on offer (buy one get one half price) so it worked out £7.50 for two which is great value! As the Freedom one is £7 for one.

This is 100ml and in screw top plastic packaging like the Freedom brush cleaner. The main difference I notice between the two is this Makeup Revolution one is more solid than the Freedom one. The Freedom one goes softer when brushes are swirled in it whereas this is more solid.

It still cleans my brushes and sponges but I do find the fact that its completely solid really odd. I'm hoping it goes softer after each use. As the Freedom one lathers more due to it being more soap like. This one does smell nice than the Freedom one, it has a rose scent. This is definitely a cheaper alternative than the beautyblender official one and definitely does the job! So I'm going to continue being either this one or the Freedom in future.

  1. I needed this post, because I was actually decided which one I should actually buy, haha. Thanks to you I think I'll order the one from Freedom.

  2. I have read reviews on this before and the fact it is solid is really weird. But, I sometimes use a Dove bar of soap to clean my foundation brush so I suppose it's similar, plus it's very affordable!

  6. This looks amazing! I always love when there is something similar that can outweigh the prices of stuff that basically does the same. I don't even use a beauty blender but something similar and it works amazing. This sounds lovely and a keeper :)

  8. I've actually never seen these before, although I haven't popped into the drugstore for ages! It does seem like a good option, but I don't know if I would prefer a more liquid one :) xx

  10. Oddly enough, I've never actually used a brush cleanser like this before. I tend to stick to good old baby shampoo but this certainly seems like it would be a lot easier - and it's so cheap too!

  11. I love that this one smells like rose but I'm not sure how I would get on with the firmer texture. It's a great price though so definitely worth checking out :) x
