Basic Beauty Tools Spongedry & Foundation Blender Review

08:30

I'm someone who hates having to keep the plastic packaging of my blending sponges just for somewhere to air dry the sponge. So when I was offered the chance to receive this make up sponge holder, Spongedry*, to review I was very excited!

Spongedry is a sponge holder to stop your sponge contracting bacteria. As someone who likes to clean my beauty sponges regularly this is perfect for me. I hate keeping the plastic packaging the sponges come in, this is much more aesthetically pleasing. It comes in various colours: black, white, pink and purple. It is travel friendly too, it collapses down and even comes with a lovely travel pouch to store it. I now use the Spongedry on my dressing table to keep my sponge clean.

The Spongedry also comes with a free foundation blender - you can even choose which colour sponge! The foundation blender is available to buy separately for £5.99 and it comes in pink, black and purple. It is latex free and expands in water. The flat side is perfect for applying foundation to my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. I use the pointy edge for applying foundation under my eyes. Its a really good quality sponge and I think it will last a while!

I've been so impressed with the Spongedry and the foundation blender. I'm tempted to buy some as gifts for people. I currently have a discount code for 15% off using the code SHELLEEN15. Basic Beauty Tools ship worldwide too.

  8. I absoloutely love using a sponge for my make-up but tools like the beauty blender can be so expensive, especially if they're just left shoved in a drawer! The spongedry sounds like a great invention!
