Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Review

08:30

First of all, so sorry I haven't posted, my laptop broke so I have had to use my fiance's laptop now and then so not had chance to write posts. I thought I'd share my thoughts on product I got for Christmas, the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer.

The Elasticizer was designed for specifically for Audrey Hepburn, she's my favourite actress so I couldn't resist trying it. Its a moisturising pre-shampoo treatment for all hair types that aims to offer elasticity, shine and bounce to hair. The key ingredients are castor oil, olive oil, silicones, elastin, glycerine and glycol.

I have thick hair, that tends to have greasy roots with dry ends. When I first applied this, I applied it all over wet hair and left it for about 15 minutes before rinsing, shampooing and conditioning. I initially found my hair to look greasy on my roots even after drying. Although the ends of my hair were definitely more moisturised and my fringe had more bounce.

I decided it to give it another try, applying it just the ends of my hair and fringe for less time. It worked so much better for my hair and I really liked how moisturised my hair felt. If you have greasy roots, I'd definitely avoid applying directly to your roots or apply sparingly. It works great on the dry areas of my hair so I'd definitely recommend it for dry hair! Overall I like this product but I wish it didn't make my roots greasy.

  4. Yeah, i know what you mean. My laptop crashed some time last year and it was a pain, I lost a large number of photos and work that I didn't save elsewhere, I was really sad to have all this work thrown away.
